John Calder
CCL Founder & Director | B Acc. & Econ. Phillip Ins EMBA IMD Lausanne
John established Calder Consulting in 2016. He has led multiple international client projects across Construction, Quarry, Mining, diversified industrial, resource and infrastructure industry segments. John has specialist experience in Battery Electric Vehicles, China OEMs, and client value growth.
Prior to establishing Calder Consulting John worked for Caterpillar for 30 years in international leadership roles in Europe, USA, Russia and China. He is married and lives in Paris. His interests include fitness, art and entrepreneurial business ventures. He has owned retail businesses, cattle farms and an Aboriginal Art Gallery.
John speaks English and French.

Nicolas Guigon
Senior Consultant | Board advisor, Mountain Leader in training
Nicolas joined CCL as a Senior Consultant in 2025. Prior to joining Calder Consulting, he held multiple Director roles at Caterpillar over a 30-year career spanning Europe, AME, Asia, and the Americas. He is a seasoned leader with a strong track record in strategy design and execution, having led multiple teams in Rental, Used, Sales, and Distribution growth initiatives, as well as delivering award-winning innovation projects.
Nicolas is recognized for his expertise in Corporate Governance as a trained independent board member and for his service on the Caterpillar pension fund foundation board. He is now a board advisor and executive coach. In addition, he is training to become a Swiss Mountain Leader and has a strong passion for environmental sustainability.
Nicolas lives near Geneva, Switzerland, and speaks French, English, and Spanish.

Chris Hathaway
Senior Consultant | Director Hathaway Consulting Sarl
Chris has been an independent consultant since 2016 and joined Calder Consulting in 2019. He has led multiple distribution development projects for OEMs and dealers in the heavy construction, quarry, and mining industries. Chris has specialist experience in distribution network evaluation and development, pricing for profit, and market research for new product development.
Prior to his consulting career, Chris spent over 30 years in leadership roles with Caterpillar across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He focuses on strategic planning and innovation in customer solutions for both prime products as well as parts and service, and is particularly skilled in navigating cross-cultural challenges.
Chris is based in Geneva, Switzerland. His interests include golf and hiking, and he is very active in supporting his local community. He speaks English and French.

Graziano Cassinelli
Senior Consultant | IEDP Wits Business School | NUS Business School Fintech
Graziano Cassinelli joined CCL as a Senior Consultant in 2026. He has over 35 years of international experience in the construction equipment industry, specializing in sales, rental, and used equipment. He has held leadership roles with major global companies, including CNH Industrial, Caterpillar, and LiuGong.
Graziano is a recognized industry expert in rental and used equipment, with a proven track record of driving business growth, dealer transformation, and rental strategy across international markets.
He is married, has three daughters, and lives in Lugano, Switzerland. His interests include cycling, travel, and the arts. Graziano speaks Italian, Spanish, and English.

Sandra Ghattas Brundler
Consultant CCL | Founder SGB Coaching | Board Member @Digital Advisory
Sandra joined Calder Consulting in 2026. She is a seasoned executive coach and business leader with over 30 years of international experience in finance, pricing, purchasing, lean, and operational leadership across EAME, the Americas, and Asia Pacific.
Prior to joining Calder Consulting, Sandra spent 30 years at Caterpillar in international leadership roles. She also founded SGB Coaching and specializes in coaching and mentoring mid-career and senior professionals through organizational change and strategic transitions.
Sandra is an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and holds certifications in Executive Coaching from IMD, as well as from MIT Sloan (AI), the Professional Pricing Society, and Accenture Supply Chain Academy. She is married and lives in Geneva, Switzerland. Her interests include hiking, skiing, chess, and music.
Sandra speaks English, French, and Arabic.

Torsten Bartsch
Consultant CCL | Mediator (CEDR) and Legal Counsel
Torsten has been working with Calder Consulting since 2025. He served as in-house counsel at Caterpillar for 25 years, leading multiple teams and projects in areas including distribution, digital framework agreements, litigation, sustainability, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic restructuring.
He is a speaker and presenter at various universities and conferences and has been consulting for several years.
Torsten enjoys cross-country skiing, cold water swimming, rowing, and making a difference through international youth exchange programs and community work.
He is fluent in English, German, and French, and has a basic knowledge of Spanish.

Florence Calder
Director and Office Administrator | Masters Deg. Commerce Ecole des Cadres
Florence is a founding Director of Calder Consulting, established in 2016. She serves as CCL’s Office Administrator and is also a qualified coach. Florence has broad international experience, including 14 years living in Africa. Her previous roles include Secretary to a Government Minister, Sales Manager for commercial vehicles, and Real Estate Manager.
She is also a qualified personal coach, teacher, and tourist guide. Until 2025, she was the owner of “St Remy de Florence,” a specialized boutique and art gallery. She is married and lives in Paris. Her interests include European art, history, and politics.
Florence speaks French, English, and conversational Spanish.

Kjeld Jespersen
Consultant CCL | Non Executive Director Omega Insights. | Advisory Director Digital WSP
Kjeld joined CCL in 2026. He has over 25 years of experience in digital transformation, strategy development, and the deployment of generative AI tools. He has led multiple digital transformation projects with leading construction equipment companies, including Caterpillar and Liebherr.
Kjeld is Advisory Director, Digital at WSP, and previously served as Digital Strategy Director on the NEOM project in Saudi Arabia. He is married and lives in Gland, Switzerland. Kjeld is an avid traveler and hiker, a frequent international conference speaker, and a guest lecturer on digital transformation at IMD Business School.
He speaks Danish, English, French, and German.

Catarina Lindahl
Consultant CCL | Founder : Resilient Safety
Catarina joined Calder Consulting in 2026. She is an international Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) consultant and an IOSH Chartered Member. She has led multiple projects across complex industrial and multi-site organizations, including risk assessment and hazard control, HSE management system reviews, and health and safety regulatory compliance, as well as risk management and governance.
Prior to founding Resilient Safety, Catarina worked for a leading global construction equipment OEM, where she was responsible for developing and implementing the EAME distribution network’s EHS strategy, with a focus on risk and incident management and strengthening safety culture. She is a SUVA Certified Safety Engineer, a Chartered Member of CMIOSH, holds NEBOSH diplomas in Environmental Management and Occupational Health and Safety, and is a certified coach with ICF.
Catarina enjoys traveling and outdoor activities. She speaks English, Swedish, and French.

John Ngai
Consultant CCL | Managing Director : GBA Connect (Foshan) Co Ltd.
John joined Calder Consulting in 2026. He leads the GBA Connect (Foshan) Company in China and specializes in helping Chinese companies grow internationally, in sectors of Product Marketing , Distribution and Dealer administration. He also helps European companies grow in China. John has worked in Executive and Director positions with leading OEMs and Dealers in the Construction Equipment industry.
Prior to joining CCL, John founded Blue Ocean Strategy Company in Hong Kong and has worked as Deputy General Manager for Sany in China for its global distribution and as GM for Caterpillar China Dealers. ECI Metro and WesTrac. John was Council Administrator for the Zhongshan Foreign Advisory Council and was a AmCham HK Committee member for 24 years and Member of China Business Committee. John is married and lives in Hong Kong, China.
John speaks Putonghua, Cantonese and English.

Mike D. Hinrichsen
Consultant CCL | President MDH Aggregate
Mike joined Calder Consulting in 2018. He has led multiple international client projects with construction equipment OEMs and dealers, focusing on equipment and services for the quarry, sand, gravel, and aggregate industries. Mike has specialist experience in sales, marketing, distribution, and large customer management. Prior to joining Calder Consulting, Mike worked for Caterpillar for over 30 years in international assignments across Europe, the Middle East, Canada, and the USA. He is a past Chairman of the M&S Division of the National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association and the Association of Equipment Distributors in the USA, and has also served as a Mayor, County Board member, and Chairman of Regional Development.
Mike is the author of The Little Black and Yellow Book, a construction equipment industry reference. He is married and lives in Peoria, USA. His interests include golf, World War II history, and music.

David Banger
Founder | CHANGE lead® | IT Consultant CCL
David Joined CCL in 2026. He has worked as an IT Change agent since 2018 when he founded CHANGE lead® . He provides strategic consulting, facilitation and executive mentoring to help organisations modernise and scale with a strong focus on IT . He has held advisory and executive roles across Construction, Engineering, Technology and Financial Services, He has previously held senior IT positions at John Holland Microsoft, KPMG, and the CBA.
David has studied at MIT Sloan, Harvard and IMD/MIT, and holds an MBA from Swinburne University, where he is an Adjunct Professor and Advisory Board member.
He is a best-selling author and columnist focused on digital transformation and organisational change, with interests in yoga, writing and business ventures.
